If your idea of fun involves pedal power – on a leisurely level or competitive scale – Folsom has the perfect celebration – or rather Cyclebration set for Sept. 11-13.
On Saturday, Sept. 12, there will be Cyclebration Festival and Expo all day at NegroBarState Park which includes vendors and information specifically aimed at cycling enthusiasts. Plus, a special Folsom Trails Family Treasure Hunt is planned. While at the expo, witness or participate in the Cyclecross which will provide riders with challenging and fun terrain including single track, sand, stairs and more.

For year-around cycling enthusiasts, Folsom is home to more than 32 miles of paved trails are available to riders of all levels (spandex not required!). There’s also terrain and routes for the serious cycling enthusiasts who giggle at the thought of a mere 32-mile course. We’ve got you covered, too. Several different routes lead from Folsom into the Sierra Foothills and offer both extreme challenge and enjoyment as some routes can include stops at nearby wineries.
