The varied terrain and trails of the Prairie City Vehicular Recreation Area draw thousands of motorcycle, all-terrain vehicle and four-wheel drive enthusiasts per year. Everyone from beginners to experts can enjoy the park’s motorcycle/ATV area, Hangtown MX track, kid’s area, quarter-midget track, go-kart track and 4x4 area. It is also the home of the Hangtown Motocross, an annual event attended by more than 20,000 motocross enthusiasts.
